Church Nerds – Captains Log Day 1 & 2

For those of you unfamiliar with where I am and what I’m doing check out this post.

I am hanging with a group of people that are quite possibly the most talented people I’ve ever met.  You can get to know them here.

Here’s what I love about them: everyone has a unique, God-given ability to create something beautiful and they all have decided that it’s best used to serve not only a church that they are employed/volunteer at but God’s church and God’s people. With that like-minded mission, the work begins tomorrow.

My team hits the ground running at River of Life Church.  We had a great time at their service today and look forward to some forward-thinking conversations tomorrow with their pastor and creative leaders this week.  I’ll update you as we begin to move through the process of discovering highest priority needs and low-hanging fruit.

We have teams serving a number of other churches in the area.  Please pray for all of us for health, safety, clarity and that we can be an encouragement to the ministries we are working with.
